The False Pope Will Fall Silent

The False Pope, In Great Need For the Church, Will Fall Silent!

In This Supreme Moment Of Need For The Church, The One Who Should Speak Will Fall Silent”!
(Our Lady of Good Success in Quito, Ecuador, on January 20, 1610).

Dear friends,

As we know, it is very important to struggle everyday to seek the Truth in a world filled with confusion, sown by “the father of lies” (Jn 8:44), more than ever before. As I wrote at the beginning of my main blog site (Microsoft’s Explorer has blocked my main sites (http://josephdwight.blogspot.com, http://giuseppedwight.blogspot.it/,), so you can Google to find my principal websites, with keywords such as: josephdwight, giuseppedwight)

I do not think it was by chance that when Pope John Paul II was asked toward the end of his life to offer one verse from the entire Bible for the people of God, he responded without hesitation: “THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE” (Jn 8:32; Jer 6:16)! Father, “Sanctify them in the truth” (Jn 17:17)! The Truth, tied to the cross of Jesus here on earth, is uncomfortable!”

I too have often had to backtrack when I discovered new information and documents in my search for the truth. The search for the truth is an ongoing process and will not end until our death. Very often, even good Catholics who have received more of the fullness of the Truth than non Catholics, CUT OFF DIALOGUE in the search for the truth when there is indicated something that they do not want to hear or documents they do not want to read; many follow the uncomfortable Truth, Christ crucified, only up to the point that they decide according to the way they want the truth and the way they want reality. Those who have received more grace and greater responsibility from God but slide away from God become better experts in deceiving themselves and others as they justify and disguise their hidden egoism. The more we follow the Truth, Who is crucified on the cross, the more we will be asked to loose many things (all things before entering heaven before the all perfect God!) that we are attached to so as to make room in our hearts for the Truth Who is Jesus Christ (Jn 14:6). What an advantageous exchange of our ideas and attachments and comforts for the eternal riches of our divine Savior!

In this search for the Truth, it is very important to understand well the most basic tenets of our faith, such as, the Church is the handmaid of the Truth and not the Author of the Truth. Thus a group of bishops cannot change the Ten Commandments or the words of Christ Himself, even in a sly covert way, with beautiful rhetoric filled with false love, false mercy and misguided compassion, which ends up in the long run in hurting the ones committing the sin, those around them and our whole society in which we live. Very few Catholics today, immersed into relativism, realize that to change, even an “iota” of the saving laws of God (Mt 5:18; Lk 16:17; Mk 13:31), will bring very great destruction to eternal souls. Wars were fought in the first centuries of the Church due to disputes over the doctrine of the Church; now very few Catholics even care. If we are not alert with much prayer and study, the same old tricks of our adversary, with different dressings, will be used to lead us astray and away from God Who is the Truth and the way to eternal life. This is why we cannot rest until death, because our very intelligent enemy does not rest even at night; our enemy works in the dark!

Having all the revelations of Our Lady to Don Stefano Gobbi in Italian on my Hard Disk (which you can find on my Italian web site (http://giuseppedwight.blogspot.it/), I did a search through the messages for the word “truth” (“verità”), and I came up with some very interesting and illuminating messages for our times at least up to 1984 for now, in particular for priests. Since these messages of Our Lady to Don Stefano Gobbi cannot be found on the Internet in English, I took the time to put some of these messages here regarding the attack against the “truth”. Visit:

As we quickly approach the Synod on the Family in October, I would like to continue to try to connect the dots and to briefly go over some of the pieces of the puzzle that have manifested themselves in the last several years or more, as well as some new insights and newly discovered old revelations, in the quest to continue to be good detectives so as not to fall prey to the very intelligent wolf “disguised as an angel of light” (2Cor 11:14), as we read from Saint Peter that we say in our Night Prayers: “Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking some one to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith” (1Pet 5:8-9). It would be nice if we could see this “roaring lion” so as to identify him as “the father of lies” (Jn 8:44), instead of believing that the devil does not exist as so many Catholic lay people, priests and bishops believe today (http://www.speroforum.com/site/article.asp?id=2879; http://www.vaticans.org/index.php?/archives/61-An-interview-with-the-Vaticans-chief-excorcist,-Father-Gabriele.html). This resistance to the devil is not only the resistance to personal temptations, but perhaps even more so today, it is the resistance to not go along with the stampeding herd in a world filled with confusion and beautiful lies by the mass media, by the schools, and by almost all the religious institutions, to be politically correct, NOT Godly correct!

You might find very interesting an article, “Sister Lucia: “Final Confrontation between the Lord and Satan will be over Family and Marriage”.” by Steve Skojec. I include this article here in its entirety since I had to translate it for my Italian version of “Spiritual Food 1509” (“Cibo Spirituale 1509”):
Rorate Caeli has published a translation of a remarkable interview, originally published in 2008, with Cardinal Carlo Caffara of Bologna. In it, he references correspondence he had with Sister Lucia, the principle visionary of Our Lady at Fatima:
Q. There is a prophecy by Sister Lucia dos Santos, of Fatima, which concerns “the final battle between the Lord and the kingdom of Satan”. The battlefield is the family. Life and the family. We know that you were given charge by John Paul II to plan and establish the Pontifical Institute for the Studies on Marriage and the Family.
Yes, I was. At the start of this work entrusted to me by the Servant of God John Paul II, I wrote to Sister Lucia of Fatima through her Bishop as I couldn’t do so directly. Unexplainably however, since I didn’t expect an answer, seeing that I had only asked for prayers, I received a very long letter with her signature – now in the Institute’s archives. In it we find written: the final battle between the Lord and the reign of Satan will be about marriage and the family. Don’t be afraid, she added, because anyone who operates for the sanctity of marriage and the family will always be contended and opposed in every way, because this is the decisive issue. And then she concluded: however, Our Lady has already crushed its head.
Talking also to John Paul II, you felt too that this was the crux, as it touches the very pillar of creation, the truth of the relationship between man and woman among the generations. If the founding pillar is touched the entire building collapses and we see this now, because we are at this point and we know it. And I’m moved when I read the best biographies of Padre Pio, on how this man was so attentive to the sanctity of marriage and the sanctity of the spouses, even with justifiable rigor on occasion.
Does this come as any surprise to those watching the events currently unfolding in the Church? We have referenced various apparitions in the past that are related to this, beginning with
OUR LADY OF GOOD SUCCESS, IN THE 17TH CENTURY:
Thus I make it known to you that from the end of the 19th century and shortly after the middle of the 20th century…the passions will erupt and there will be a total corruption of morals… As for the Sacrament of Matrimony, which symbolizes the union of Christ with His Church, it will be attacked and deeply profaned. FREEMASONRY, which will then be in power, will enact iniquitous laws with the aim of doing away with this Sacrament, making it easy for everyone to live in sin and encouraging procreation of illegitimate children born without the blessing of the Church… IN THIS SUPREME MOMENT OF NEED FOR THE CHURCH, THE ONE WHO SHOULD SPEAK WILL FALL SILENT.”
When we reflect on the division among prelates at the Synod, Our Lady of Akita comes to mind:
The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres…churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord.”
Catholics are not required to believe in even the most approved and venerated private revelations, but many of us choose to do so. Does this battle relate to the famous discourse Pope Leo XIII was alleged to have heard in a vision between Christ and Satan, which led him to compose the prayer to St. Michael? How long the final battle will last, and what will come after?
It is impossible to know. But the notion that there is at this very moment a battle taking place for the heart of the Church and the souls of the faithful is no longer in dispute.

Regarding what Our Lady of Good Success said, “In this supreme moment of need for the church, the one who should speak will fall silent”, it is very interesting that Our Lady said “the ONE who should speak”; she did not say, “the ONES who should speak”, or “those who should speak”, that is, not a group of bishops, but ONE PERSON. Today people are well prepared for this underhanded and very devastating deception of silence after many years of silence about sin and about the consequences of sin on the part of almost all the fathers of the families, of the priests and of the bishops.

It is also very interesting what Cardinal Burke said after the Synod in October 2014: “Many have expressed their concerns to me. At this very critical moment, there is a strong sense that the Church is like a ship without a rudder.” This was reported by Religion News Service (http://www.religionnews.com/2014/10/31/cardinal-catholic-church-pope-francis-ship-without-rudder/). But what Cardinal Burke actually said was: “like a ship without a helm.” That’s very different from a rudder. (Report abuse in reporting!). How many men in their various God-given vocations “fall silent” when the souls entrusted to them are in great spiritual danger?!?

On “World Over - 2015-06-04 - Full Episode with Raymond Arroyo” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cA76iHWw8BA), after Raymond Arroyo had an interview with Cardinal Kasper, both Fr. Gerald E. Murray, JCD and Robert Royal, Editor-in-chief of “The Catholic Thing”, expressed the lack of logic and coherence with Catholic teaching in Cardinal Kasper’s proposal to offer Holy Communion to the divorced and remarried. In the end Fr. Murray, a canon lawyer, said that Cardinal Kasper has not answered the objection of Cardinal Caffarra regarding the validity of the first marriage. Fr. Murray said: “If the first marriage is still in existence, Cardinal Kasper’s proposal is shot down!”

Fr. Gerald E. Murray was referring to what Cardinal Caffarra said in an interview (March 2014); one of the questions in this interview was the following question:
The possibility of allowing the divorced and remarried to receive communion is spoken about. One of Cardinal Kasper’s suggestions was that they should undergo a period of penance that would bring them into a full readmission to Communion. Is this now an inevitable necessity, or is it the accommodation of Christian teaching to contemporary circumstances?”
Cardinal Caffarra’s answer:
Those who make these suggestions have NOT, at least up until now, answered one simple question: what happens to the first valid and consummated marriage? If the Church admits them to the Eucharist, she must render a judgment on the legitimacy of the second marriage. It’s logical. But, as I said, what about the first marriage? The second marriage, if we can call it that, cannot be a true second marriage because bigamy is against the teaching of Christ. So the first marriage, is it dissolved? But all the popes have always taught that the Pope has no authority over this. The Pope does not have the power to dissolve a valid and consummated marriage. The proposed solution seems to imply that although the first marriage continues, the Church can somehow legitimate a second relationship. But in doing this, the proposal demolishes the foundations of the Church’s teaching on sexuality. At this point we have to ask: why, then, can we not approve of unmarried couples living together? Or why not homosexual unions? The question is simple: what about the first marriage? No one has yet answered that question. In 2000, John Paul II speaking to the Roman Rota said: “It is clear that the Roman Pontiff’s power does not extend to valid and consummated marriages and this is taught by the Magisterium of the Church as a doctrine to be definitively held even if it has not been solemnly declared through a definitive act.” It is a technical formula, “a doctrine to be definitively held”, and it means that on this point there is no further discussion to be had among theologians nor doubts among the faithful.”

Cardinal Walter Kasper, a retired German theologian and confidant of Pope Francis, says:
“Nobody denies the indissolubility of marriage. I do not, nor do I know any bishop who denies it,” Kasper told the Jesuit weekly, America. “But discipline can be changed.”
“Discipline wants to apply a doctrine to concrete situations, which are contingent and can change,” he added.
But a sizable contingent of the nearly 200 churchmen at the current synod have forcefully rejected the separation of doctrine and practice outlined by Wuerl, Kasper and others. They say it’s simply a distinction without a difference, and a Trojan horse that could introduce de facto changes in settled doctrine.
There can’t be in the church a discipline which is not at the service of doctrine,” Cardinal Raymond Burke, a former archbishop of St. Louis who now heads the Vatican’s court system, told reporters on the eve of the synod.
Cardinal Burke, a canon lawyer, said the reformers were saying: “Oh, we’re not questioning the indissolubility of marriage at all. We’re just going to make it easy for people to receive a declaration of nullity of marriage so that they can receive the sacraments.” But to this, Burke said, “is a very deceptive line of argument which I’ve been hearing more now in this whole debate.”

On “World Over - 2014-09-25 – War with ISIS, annulment reform, George Weigel with Raymond Arroyo” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cA76iHWw8BA; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEkxD3lxXgI), after a question about the upcoming Synod on the Family by Raymond Arroyo, George Weigel answered as follows:
We all know that marriage culture throughout the western world is in deep deep crisis. We also know, or should know as Catholics, that we have a very good proposal to make in the face of that. I hope that this is a positive synod. I hope the synod begins by lifting up the beauty and dignity of Christian marriage as the answer to this crisis of marriage culture throughout the world. And I think some of the American bishops tend to do that. I know African bishops, for whose people, the discovery of Christian marriage, which has come as an enormous liberation from both ancient customs and the degradation of women within that, are going to be quite vocal on this. And I think that it may well be said, at least behind the scenes, if not in public where everyone tries to be polite, that it is really not up to dying local churches in Europe - some of whom have 7% mass attendance on Sundays, some of whom have 10% mass attendance on Sundays - to pretend that they have a pastoral answer to the crisis of marriage culture when they manifestly do not have a pastoral answer to much else right now.”

Nothing is heard from the Mass Media about the important book written by five cardinals last September 2014: “Remaining in the Truth of Christ”!

Reporting on the Synod of October 2014:
In an indication of the chasm that is apparently underway within the church leadership itself, Francis decided late Friday to add six progressives from four continents to the synod leadership to help prepare the final document after several conservatives were elected to leadership positions. None of Francis’ appointees were Africans, who are traditionally among the most conservative on family issues” (https://www.lifesitenews.com/blogs/more-synod-revelations-plus-heartbreaking-letter-on-an-african-bishops-resp).
The Great Division - Polish Bishops' Conference President: communion for "remarried" divorcees attacks indissolubility of marriage. Curiously enough, Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki , of Poznań, President of the Polish Episcopal Conference, whose presence and firmness were so important in the October Synod, repeats the same line mentioned by Cardinal Francis George (Chicago) in his interview to John Allen: the differences are becoming so wide within the Church, the division so stark, we are not talking anymore about "liberals" and "conservatives", or left and right, but about what is true and what is false, about THOSE WHO ARE FAITHFUL OR UNFAITHFUL TO THE MAGISTERIUM” (http://rorate-caeli.blogspot.com/2014/11/the-great-division-polish-bishops.html).

After having discovered these words of Our Lady of Good Success at Quito, Ecuador (January 20, 1610), I would modify a paragraph that I wrote in my article “Letter to fellow Priests” (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2014/12/letter-to-fellow-priests.html):
I asked a couple of priests in my diocese recently what would they do if Pope Francis approves everything that Cardinal Kasper says in October at the Synod on the Family? In the last two years, under the reign of Pope Francis, many bishops, cardinals and priests, who want to change the 10 Commandments to please the people, to offer a Christianity without the cross, have been promoted by Pope Francis, and those bishops who say that you cannot change the 10 Commandments and must take up your cross with Christ, were marginalized by Pope Francis! IF it will be approved by silence on the part of “THE ONE WHO SHOULD SPEAK” (and thus officially approved), that is by the pope, in October of this year (2015) at the Synod on the Family, what Cardinal Kasper promotes, that is, to be able to have sex outside of marriage without any obligation to do or live what we as Catholics say in the “Act of Contrition”: “I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to sin no more, and to avoid the near occasion of sin” (sin according to God explained by His Church, the Magisterium of the Church, not according to the disguised egoism of relativism of each person or of the world!), THEN WE HAVE ARRIVED TO THE GREAT PROPHECIES OF THE BIBLE AS WELL AS THE PROPHECIES OF OUR LADY OF GOOD SUCCESS, OF SAINT FRANCIS OF ASSISI, OF SAINT HILDEGARD (Doctor of the Church) AND OF MANY OTHERS! After Satan deals a mighty blow to the soul of the world, the Mystical Body of Christ, the Church, the world will deteriorate more quickly and go rapidly toward the infernal abyss. I find it interesting that Our Lady of Good Success said these words in South America, and also that one of the most revealing prophecies about the false pope was given to Saint FRANCIS of Assisi, a saint very popular throughout the world.

ASSISI IS SEEN AS A WORLD ECUMENICAL CENTER, RECOGNIZED BY MANY RELIGIONS. Pope Benedict XVI marked the twenty-fifth anniversary of the John Paul II’s historic meeting for peace in Assisi (October 27, 1986) with a special pilgrimage to the site along with representatives of other religions and non-believers (October 27, 2011).

Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI went to Assisi to promote true ecumenism of not putting aside the truth; these two popes did not go to Assisi to promote false ecumenism by putting aside our most important and fundamental doctrines of our faith in order to be together in a false and non-lasting way!

The founder of Christendom College (USA), Dr. Warren Carroll, wrote that ecumenism is important but properly understood is “not an ecumenism in which you would abandon convictions in truth which would be superficial and meaningless agreements, but developing an ecumenism built solidly on real conviction and truth.”

God revealed to Saint Francis of Assisi these prophecies:
2. “The power of the demons will be greater than usual, the immaculate purity of our religious community and of others, will wither to the point that very few Christians will want to obey the true Sovereign Pontiff and the Roman Church with a sincere heart and perfect charity. At the decisive moment of this crisis, a personage not canonically elected, raised to the Pontificate, will endeavor to administer shrewdly to many the MORTAL POISON of his error.”
7. “Some preachers will keep silent about the truth and, denying the truth, they will trample upon the truth. The sanctity of life will be held in derision by those who only profess it outwardly, and for this reason Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a worthy Pastor, but a destroyer.”

What was Our Lady of Good Success (Quito, Ecuador; January 20, 1610) telling us over 400 years ago for our times? In this supreme moment of need for the church, the one who should speak will fall silent.” Because if “the one who should speak” approves openly what has been promoted by the Freemasonry, “the Sacrament of Matrimony … will be attacked and deeply profaned”, many people will wake up if sex outside of marriage is officially approved. Satan is not stupid! To lead as many souls to hell without waking them up until they are in hell, sex outside of marriage will be approved in the Church around the world by way of the silence of the pastors of the Church, especially the most important pastors of the Church. Behold the “astute deviation of our attention”!
Negligent religious leaders are often afraid to speak freely and say what needs to be said – for fear of losing favor with people. As Truth himself says, they are certainly not guarding their flock with the care expected of a shepherd but are acting like hirelings, because hiding behind a wall of silence is like taking flight at the approach of the wolf. These are the people whom the Lord is reproaching through the prophet, when he says: ‘THEY ARE ALL DUMB DOGS, THEY CANNOT BARK’ (Is 56:10) … If a religious leader is afraid to say what is right, what else can his silence mean but that he has taken flight? Whereas, if he stand firm in defence of his flock, he is building up a wall for the house of Israel against its enemies. And so again the sinful people are told: ‘Your prophets have seen false and foolish visions for you; they have not exposed your iniquity in order to provoke you to repentance.’ …” (Pope St. Gregory the Great; Office of Readings; Sunday, Week 27 of OT).

What kind of men are they who, fearing to hurt those they speak to, not only do not prepare them for imminent temptations, but even promise the happiness of this world, which God did not promise to the world itself?...” (Sermon of St. Augustine on the Shepherds; Office of Readings; Sunday, Week 24 of OT, Friday).

We remember the dramatic words pronounced by Pope Paul VI on June 29 1972, after the Second Vatican Council, denouncing that “By some fissure the smoke of Satan has entered into the temple of God… One no longer trusts the Church; so many trust in the first profane prophet, who speaks to us in a magazine or in some social slogans, in order to run after him and ask him if he has the formula of true life. And we do not realize instead that we have already become lords and teachers. Doubt has entered our consciences, and it has entered through the windows which were meant to have been opened to the light. This state of uncertainty reigns even in the Church. It was hoped that after the Council there would be a day of sunlight in the history of the Church. Instead, there came a day of clouds, of darkness, of groping, of uncertainty…”

A few months before Pope Paul VI died, on September 8, 1977, he confirmed this grave judgment in a conversation with Jean Guitton. Here are the words of Paul VI recounted by the French philosopher:
"There is a great disturbance at this moment in the world and in the Church, and what is in question is the faith. It happens now that I find myself repeating the obscure saying of Jesus in the Gospel of Saint Luke: 'When the Son of man returns, will he find faith on the earth?' It happens that books are published in which important points of the faith are undermined, that the bishops are silent, that these books are not found to be strange. This, according to me, is strange. I read again every once in a while the Gospel of the end times and I realize that in this moment there is emerging some signs of the end times. Are we near the end? This we will never know. It is necessary to always be ready, but everything can still last quite a while. What strikes me, when I consider the Catholic world, is that a non-Catholic type of thought seems to predominate sometimes within Catholicism, and this non-Catholic thought might become the stronger one within Catholicism in the future. But it will never represent the thought of the Church. A small flock must remain, however small it may be."

Christ came into the world when there was much darkness. “The true light that enlightens every man was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world knew him not. He came to his own home, and his own people received him not…” (Jn 1:9-11). Even when the disciples “were amazed at His words”, and even “exceedingly astonished”, Christ did not offer false and empty and destructive compromises as so many leaders in the Church today are offering to the gullible “Christians”, but rather said: “With men it is impossible, but not with God; FOR ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD” (Mk 10:23-27). When the Jews said “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” (Jn 6:52) and then “many of his disciples drew back and no longer went about with him” (Jn 6:66; the only verse in the Bible with the number 666!), Jesus did not offer compromises or easier or more humanly rational explanations, but even said to the twelve, “Will you also go away?” (Jn 6:67)!!! “For Jesus knew from the first who those were that did not believe, and who it was that should betray him” (Jn 6:64). Judas did not believe in the words of Christ about the Eucharist and ended up betraying Christ!

One of the greatest forces working to DESTROY THE FAMILY and society is radical feminism. The goals of feminism are: the destruction of patriarchy; control of reproduction including contraception, abortion, and reproductive technologies; destruction of the fatherheaded family with divorce and illegitimacy made normal; all women in the workforce, no man able to support his family and free 24 hour day care; destruction of all-male institutions; total sexual liberation including sex for children, homosexuality, and bisexuality; destruction of worship of God as father.
Radical feminism has put man against woman; it has given rise to the war of the sexes which results in destroying the fundamental relationship between husband and wife, thus greatly undermining the primary institution of humanity created by God, the family!

Thus one of the most fundamental goals of secular feminism is to get rid of the father from the family, a father of the family as God intended the father, not a father that is portrayed on the highly controlled TV and mass media. Because it is above all the father of the family that must help the children, by his example, to confront reality as reality is and not as each child wants to fabricate reality as he or she wants according to his or her own relativistic egoism spurred on by the very secularized world. The father, by example, helps kids to cope with reality, re-beginning many times, offering his children an example of self-discipline to be able to say no to the body in self-mortification for true love so as to be able to say no to the very strong and alluring temptations of today. If the father does offers this good Christian example, even our falls can become a springboard to God instead of being blocked and discouraged or worse, to embrace the nice and easy lies of Satan.

Do we want reality and the truth as we want it, or do we confront reality as the reality is, and as the truth is, as do mature adults?!? The devil, having ferociously attacked, in a very underhanded and sly way, the fathers of the families, the priests and the bishops, has led a great number of fathers, priests and bishops to not live their vocation from God, as men, to not be ready to offer the uncomfortable but saving truth on the cross, to not be ready to sacrifice themselves for their wives, for their families, for their parishes, for their dioceses, for the society and for the whole world, and above all for the Truth, Who is Jesus, who makes us truly free! And thus many youth and adults today did not have a father or a pastor as an evangelical model, like Jesus, in order to assimilate and to imitate this male model of God in the period of formation especially as a child up to 12 years of age, when the child is fundamentally formed. How many priests and bishops today, for the true good of their flock, have the courage to imitate the saints and the prophets and say as Saint John the Baptist, the “greatest born of women” (Mt 11:11), said to king Herod: “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife” (Mk 6:18)? So many religious leaders and parents seek to please the people without distinguishing determining if it is a sin or not, if it truly does good to the person or not. This is false and destructive love; this is misguided compassion! Few religious leaders today have the courage of the first Pope, Peter, the day of the birth of the Church, Pentecost, to say: “You have crucified Jesus” (Acts 4:10), “the author of life” (Acts 3:15), with your grave, mortal sins!

The television today presents males as misfits, wimps, and cowards, and it strongly pushes us to be “politically correct”, but not correct according to Divine Revelation, not according to a true man of God! Today there is greatly lacking personal discipline to be able to seek and to do and to proclaim the saving Truth which is crucified on the cross, and to be ready to remain alone on the cross with Jesus abandoned, or at the foot of the cross with Mary desolate, for the true good of others, for the redemption of the world! A mother’s heart goes out to the child who is suffering, and rightly so. But the father says we must perform the painful surgery to save the child’s life, the child’s eternal life! The father of the family must lead with his example of submitting himself to the painful divine surgery of the cross of Christ to eliminate his hidden and disguised egoism which destroys him if left unchecked by no sincere prayer and true contrition. The father must show the way with self discipline to constantly maintain God and eternal happiness as the first priority by persevering everyday in prayer to seek and do God’s saving will. This is the example that the children of good will, will follow! But also without the father’s love as a man and as the head of the family, his daughters are very vulnerable to males who only want to use girls for their egotistical pleasure; the sons without a mature father will have a very difficult time standing up on their own two feet, in a very secularistic world, to remain faithful to honesty, to justice and to a wife and family.

If the wife corresponds with the graces of her vocation with much prayer to seek and do the will of God, notwithstanding the very strong negative influence of radical secular feminism, she will be able to inspire her husband in his God-given vocation toward true virtue instead of seducing him or dominating him or manipulating him. Radical feminism has offered the appealing apple of pride and a great number of women have eaten the poisonous apple and offer this apple to many around them. Psychological studies, even independent of religion, tell us that if the father of the family goes to church each Sunday even without his wife, 40% of the children continue this habit after they leave home; if the mother does the same without her husband, only 5% of the children continue afterwards. This is the way God has made man and woman with different vocations and gifts from God: the wife inspires the husband and the husband inspires the kids. Many spiritual writers have pointed out that the level of the morality or depravity of a nation is determined by the women of the nation. Few people today understand and appreciate the tremendous beauty and value of a virtuous woman as described in Proverbs 31, or in the lives of many saintly wives such as Saint Monica who prayed, sacrificed herself with persevering patience and shed many tears, resulting in the conversion of her husband and her son who became the great Saint Augustine! The great majority of the men and women today, brainwashed and indoctrinated by radical feminism and secular humanism, will rebel (often in a disguised way to imply to others that they are holy and humble, but they do not want to dialogue with reference to documents especially of the Church) against any kind of fraternal correction or even against good examples of true feminine or masculine virtue.

To have the proper attitude in offering fraternal correction, it helps me to meditate on the image and model of the Good Thief on the cross who at first blasphemed but then, when he finally looked at Jesus on the cross, he repented and converted, and then admonished the other condemned man on the cross while acknowledging his own guilt and unworthiness (Lk 23:39-43). How important it is to meditate everyday on the passion of Christ as Saint Padre Pio and all the saints tell us! The meditation on the passion of Christ helps us to recognize our sins, the consequences of our sins and how much Jesus loves us! Few priests and bishops today, who are sinners like all of us, have the courage to defend the Truth, crucified more than ever on the cross, even in a humble way as did the Good Thief. It is easier and more humanly satisfying to be politically correct than to look at Christ crucified so as to have compassion for Jesus and become Godly correct, instead of worldly correct!

We are quickly arriving to the fulfilment of the prophecy of Saint Francis of Assisi about the very negative reaction to good holy example (No. 6; (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2013/11/prophecy-st-francis.html). More than ever before in the history of the world and even of the Church, we can apply the words of the prophet Isaiah: “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil” (Is 5:20)!

Very few adults today after the sexual revolution had a father according to God’s designs and thus these adults remained very handicapped in facing a very difficult world filled with beautiful and alluring temptations and traps which offer the easy but deadly way. Without the guidance and formation of good parents, the children will be formed by the world with Satan as the prince, the father of lies. But there is always hope. One can recuperate true and Godly manhood if one regularly spends time on his knees before the Most Blessed Sacrament, with his Rosary.

The films 60 years ago often gave us this evangelical model of a man, for example, the sheriff in the film: “High Noon” (1952)! Many fake being true males but only up to the point that they do not have to loose something to which they have let their hearts become attached to, especially, the glory before people, slowly sliding into blindness with each compromise in order to defend these attachments; these are the false heroes presented to us on TV today. The sons who did not receive the experience to be close to a true man according to God, do not even know the difference between the false the true man! The most true Man was totally humiliated on the cross 2000 years ago; this is the model of the authentic man which today the world, which surrounds us and influences us, does not at all understand, as so many Catholics today! Also how many wives have not put God, the Truth, before her husband or her mother or any other person or thing (Mt 10:37; Lk 14:26)?

Spoiled and undisciplined children concentrate on the sins of their parents and then tell them to shut up. This is the normal strategy toward all authority, not only in the family but in the Church, which in effect, is telling God, who gave us lawful authority here on earth for our true good to protect the flock, to shut up. Thus few fathers of the families or priests or bishop today have the formation, the strength or the courage to offer true love, true mercy and true compassion, not misguided compassion, but guided compassion! With God all things are possible! Those who pray ardently everyday hold Christ before them as their model and thus realize how far they have to go to imitate Christ, and also obtain the strength from Christ to do what is right and good for themselves and for others from an eternal prospective; they also begin to see things from the point of view of God and thus become more grateful for all that their parents have done for them and for all that God has given them, which is everything they have! Those who do not pray with sincerity and humility end up setting themselves up as the model and go around criticizing others according to themselves and their relativistic masked egoism to which they are generally blind to; they see things only from their small, closed egotistical point of view and thus do not see all that their parents and God have given to them, including all the sacrifices their parents and Jesus on the cross have done for them. When things do not go the way they want, they throw a tantrum, even as adults but in a more sophisticated and disguised way.

GOOD parents, priests and bishops are accused of lack of charity because they preach the whole Gospel. But if Christ was the perfect model of the Gospel, why was Christ crucified, why were most of the prophets of the Old Testament put to death, and why did Our Lady of Fatima show the three children hell? In the Gospels Jesus spoke more about hell than about heaven! Perhaps those of our modern and enlightened age, who accuse good parents, priests and bishops of lack of charity, because they live and preach the whole Gospel, would like to give some advice to Christ, the prophets and to Our Lady! Christ founded the Church on 12 sinners, not 12 perfect angels from heaven as the immature critics believe to be, while portraying themselves as humble and virtuous!

My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor lose courage when you are punished by him. For the Lord disciplines him whom he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives” (Heb 12:5-6; Prov 3:12; Rev 3:19).

It is much easier to receive discipline out of love at the age of 9 or 10 from ones father than to receive discipline for the same fault at the age of 50 or 60. After continuing to nurture and defend and justify a particular fault for 40 or 50 years, it is very difficult to receive fraternal correction even from someone who desires the best for us. A man in prison for over 20 years said that his father did not love him because his father always let him do whatever he wanted and never offered any discipline. Children often rebel at the discipline of their parents but children do not respect parents who do not offer their children discipline out of love!

There are many Catholics today who even frequent the parish but are there with the attitude that religion exists to serve us instead of helping us to serve God, to help us to discover God’s holy will and to offer us the graces needed to do God’s holy will. The first question in our catechisms as children was: Who created you? We responded: God created me. The second question: Why did God create you? We responded: To know, to love and to serve God so as to be with God in heaven for all eternity. Today for the great majority of Catholics, it is all reversed! Religion, the parish, the pastor all exist to serve me, not to help me serve God! At times I have said to some people in my parish who want to put me straight according to what they are used to in many parishes today, a Christianity without the cross, with no mention of sin or the temporal and eternal consequences of sin: “If I do not offer the homily based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church for adults, I will go to hell; and I will not go to hell for anyone!” Was this not the admonishment of God to the prophet Ezekiel (Ezek 33:7-9)?

Each of us must make the fundamental choice to make a leap of faith to God when we do not understand everything before God and His divine revelation. Very often, especially today, following Christ and His divine revelation explained infallibly by His Church, it can seem impossible from our point of view. It is impossible to live the beautiful vocation of matrimony or the great vocation of Holy Orders without God’s grace. Each of us, with our respective God-given vocations, must repeat often in our journey of life the words of Saint Peter when he did not understand fully Christ’s words about the Eucharist: “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life” (Jn 6:68). Will we follow the example of Saint Peter or of Judas Iscariot and the many disciples who abandoned Jesus (Jn 6:64-66)? This human drama and fundamental choice for each of us is illustrated well at the beginning of the Office of Readings in the Invitatory (Ps 95).

It is more difficult today than ever, but Sister Lucy of Fatima said to Father Agostino Fuentes, the postulator of the cause of beatification of Giacinta e Francesco (December 26, 1957): “Father, it is urgent that we realize this terrible reality. WE DO NOT WANT TO FILL THE SOULS WITH FEAR, BUT ONLY IT IS URGENT A RECALL TO REALITY. From when the Holy Virgin gave such a great efficaciousness to the Rosary, there does not exist any material, spiritual, national or international problem that cannot be resolved with THE HOLY ROSARY AND WITH OUR SACRIFICES.” To recite it with devotion will be to consol Mary and to wipe away so many tears from her Immaculate Heart. … Our Lady expressly said: “We are approaching the end times”.”

We say that God is love! But do we really believe that the God who created human beings and gave these human beings a guide for their conduct, the Ten Commandments, are for our good or for our evil? Do we trust ourselves or do we trust God? Do we give God only lip service in the Our Father: “Thy will be done”?

Many Church leaders do not live the Gospel, which is only possible by trusting in God (with much prayer) not in themselves, and thus lead the souls entrusted to them down the same path of compromise and destruction, along “the road to perdition”. What Cardinal Kasper is proposing and promoting, and now more and more bishops and cardinals recently promoted to higher positions of authority (and thus encouraged), is to open the flood gates, in the name of “compassion”, “mercy” and “love”! “But I say to you that every one who divorces his wife, except on the ground of un-chastity, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery” (Mt 5:32; 19:9; Lk 16:18; Mk 10:11-12; 1Cor 7:10-13; Deut 24:1-4). Kasper and gang are helping us to look at ourselves instead of looking at God; to trust in ourselves, rather than to totally trust in God.

What therefore God has joined together, let no man put asunder” (Mt 19:6; Mk 10:9). Even Jesus’ disciples at the beginning of their walk with Jesus talked like many leaders of the “dying local churches in Europe” today. “If such is the case of a man with his wife, it is not expedient to marry” (Mt 19:10). A true pope would say to Kasper, perhaps in a more polite way (as did Pope John Paul II: “Familiaris Consortio”; as did Cardinal Ratzinger: see “Who Decides the Truth” (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2014/06/who-decides-truth.html): “Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me; for you are not on the side of God, but of men” (Mt 16:23)!

Christ is saying to all Christians, especially those who have greater responsibility, such as priests and bishops, that if people pray to discover and do the holy will of God, it is possible to live the Ten Commandments as God gave to Moses. If people do not pray, it is impossible to live the Ten Commandments as God intended for our true good explained in detail by His Church, the Catholic Church. It is amazing today how many priests, bishops and cardinals are trying to change the 10 Commandments according to what the people want, instead of encouraging the people to set aside at least 15 minutes each day to meditate on the life of Christ in the Holy Rosary and to spend time before the Most Blessed Sacrament; if they did this, it would be possible to live the 10 Commandments as God intended for our true good. Thus one sees what Our Lady predicted for our times on the anniversary of the great miracle of the sun at Fatima on October 13, 1917: “The work of the devil will infiltrate even the Church in such a way that one will see CARDINALS OPPOSING CARDINALS, bishops against other bishops… The church will be full of those who accept compromise …(Our Lady of Akita, Japan; October 13, 1973; http://blogcristianocattolico.blogspot.com/2008/01/la-madonna-di-akita-giappone.html).

So many Church leaders today are offering as solutions to the crisis of family life and sexuality compromise after compromise instead of offering the true solution, first of all by their own example of adoration of our Eucharistic Lord and praying the Holy Rosary. Which of the two solutions will lead to the true and eternal solution and which solution will lead to destruction here on earth and for all eternity? Which solution leads us to trust more in God and which solution leads us to trust more in ourselves?

Should we follow the words of Cardinal Kasper and many others like him, or should we follow the words of the Angel Gabriel and of Mary who became the Mother of God because she totally trusted in the Word of God? “For with God nothing will be impossible. And Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word”.” (Lk 1:37-38)!

It is very interesting that in the proposals of these bishops to allow divorced and remarried Catholics to receive Communion without doing all they can “to avoid the near occasion of sin”, THERE IS NO MENTION OF WHAT IS BEST AND NEEDED FOR THE CHILDREN of separated and divorced Catholics. In these proposals, which are totally contrary to the teachings of the Church, there is only mentioned what the adults want and desire! Do these proposals of these bishops help people progress toward greater love of God and neighbor in self-sacrifice, or greater love of self and less love of God and neighbor?
Visit: “An Astute Deviation of Our Attention!”

Most Reverend Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron explains:
Saint Matthew records that Jesus said this: “For your hardness of heart Moses allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. I say to you…” (Mt 19:8-9). I say to you, Jesus says, not telling you what Moses said. Moses had to compromise. Moses had to create situations where he managed problems and dysfunctions, because Moses was not able to bring the power of the Holy Spirit in its fullness. …
Saint Paul teaches that in the fifth chapter of the letter to the Ephesians: “Husbands love your wives, even as Christ loved the Church and handed himself over for her.” This is to say that the Church’s teaching about human sexuality, about the essential connection between the experience of sexual, genital love and marriage as essential. Sexual acts of genital intimacy outside of marriage is disordered. This, while it is a challenge to children of the sexual revolution - and in some degree, we are all children of that revolution - we are witnesses to this good news. That we are not captive to the ideology of our age. But Christ has revealed to us how the Father expects us to live this very important part of our human nature and how Christ has given us a share in his strength so that we might respond fully to God’s call.
One way to put this is that we do not have to compromise about chastity, that we know what it is to be chaste because Jesus has taught us and we know that through Christ we have a share in his strength to live this.
Now this is not easy, and like all of the Good News, it requires continual ongoing repentance. We all fall to one degree or another. Pray God that we do not fall into mortal sin. But that happens in the lives of serious Christians, certainly. But Christ in the kingdom, Christ in his life, permits us to live this Good News and to be committed to advancing in this life of virtue.
And this is mercy! HOW COULD IT NOT BE MERCY TO TELL PEOPLE THE TRUTH? Now it does not mean that we tell people this truth in a confrontational way or in a way that puts them down or in a way that provokes unnecessary hostility. But there is no mercy in giving people what’s counterfeit. That’s a false mercy. The great gift of mercy is to offer the truth. This is what we all know. To offer it lovingly, certainly. To offer it as an invitation the way our Lord Jesus does clearly in the Gospel. To show compassion for sinners, to be patient with sinners. Jesus when he goes out after the lost sheep does not, as one of the Church Fathers said, use his staff to poke them in the ribs and kick him down the hill to get him back to where he needs to go. That’s not how mercy works. Mercy is compassion. BUT JESUS DOESN’T LEAVE THE SHEEP IN THE PLACE WHERE THE SHEEP WAS SUBJECT TO DANGER. He does what he needs to do to carry the lost lamb into the light where the lamb is safe. This is a gift of love to us sinners. The revelation of Jesus’ truth about family life and sexuality.”

How many pastors today “leave the sheep in the place where the sheep was subject to danger”?! How many pastors today do not do one of their most fundamental assignments from God to be the doctor of the souls, to help the souls to identify and to cure the sicknesses of the soul, especially those most grave which are called “mortal sins”, that is, the sins which render the soul dead, but the body walks with a dead soul until death if there is no priest who helps the person to recognize the gravity of their situation and to make a good confession! What is more important the health of our bodies which last less than 100 years or the health of our souls which last for all eternity, whether we believe it or not, whether we desire it or not? If the priests do not help the people to identify the sickness of the soul, the greatest disease of each of us, the people do not have anything to confess, and thus they have no need of Jesus the Redeemer, who came for sinners, not for the just who believe to have no sins. In this way the Redemption is nullified for these people because they do not believe to have need of a Savior. We say at every Holy Mass: “Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world (Jn 1:29), have mercy on us”!

THE LAST SEVERAL POPES HAVE TOLD US THAT THE GREATEST SIN TODAY IS THAT THERE IS NO MORE SIN; we have lost the sense of sin. By now we have slowly and collectively slid outside of the Laws of God, which saves, and we have become habituated to being outside of the “state of grace” and we say that God forgives. But God forgives if a person is sincere when he or she sincerely says and lives the Act of Contrition, because true love signifies the respect of our free will to seek to discover and to do the will of God with the help of God, or, to change the criteria of sin and of salvation according to our deceptive relativism. God respects this choice for all eternity, to be with the Truth (“T”), Who is God, or to be with the truth (“v”) which comes from the “father of lies” (Jn 8:44), the “prince of the world” (Jn 12:31; 14:30). IT IS A TRUE ACT OF LOVE to help people to return to the “state of grace”, with God, because eternity is more important and this short life! The Laws of God, which are for OUR TRUE GOOD, do not change: “Not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the law until all is accomplished” (Mt 5:18; Lk 16:17; Mk 13:31)!

When Pope Paul VI issued his prophetic encyclical, “HUMANAE VITAE” (1968), there was an incredible negative reaction not only on the part of the laity who wanted to enjoy the pleasures of sexual relationships without any responsibility or openness to life by using artificial birth control, but even on the part of a great number of priests and bishops, even entire Episcopal conferences (e.g., the ‘Winnipeg Statement’ of the Canadian Bishops)! BEFORE 1930 ALL MAINLINE PROTESTANT DENOMINATIONS WERE IN ACCORD WITH THE CATHOLIC CHURCH that the use of artificial birth control was a grave evil and a serious sin. When the Anglican Church changed its stance in 1930 (Lambeth Conference) the other protestants churches quickly followed suit while Pope Pius XI reaffirmed the Church’s constant teaching on this grave evil in his encyclical Casti Cannubii (1930). Do we believe that we can make it to heaven without imitating Christ crucified to overcome our egoism and to learn to truly love, without being generous to life (“be fruitful and multiply”; Gen 1:28; 9:1,7; 26:24; 38:8-10; Ps 8:6-9; 127:3-5; Sir 17:2-4; Ex 1:7; Wis 9:2; 10:2; etc.) as God was and is for each of us?

Father Ivan Pojavnik wrote: “The cult of god-man has led to the gradual disappearance of sacramental confession and innumerable sacrilegious communions which have wounded the heart of the Church, so that She is in agony in every part of the world; and will lead to the horror of the desolation” (http://wordbelife.blogspot.it/2015/08/spiritual-food-1508.html).

Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; I came not to call the righteous, but sinners” (Mk 2:17-22; Lk 5:32; Mt 9:14-17). “For the Son of man came to seek and to save the lost” (Lk 19:10). Satan has convinced a great number of Christians today that they are not lost in sin, and thus do not seek a Savior!

In my article, “The Hidden Broad Road to Perdition” (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2015/05/road-perdition.html), I wrote:
I think my experience will offer an example of what Our Lady revealed to Father Stefano Gobbi:
Even among my priests how many there are who no longer believe; and yet, they still remain in my Church, true wolves in sheep’s clothing, and they are bringing to ruin a countless number of souls.” (December 1, 1973).
What is it that is obscuring the beauty and the brightness of the Church? It is the smoke of the errors which Satan has caused to enter into it. These are becoming constantly more and more disseminated and are bringing very many souls to the loss of the faith. The cause of such a vast diffusion of errors and of this great apostasy rests with unfaithful pastors. They remain silent when they should speak with courage to condemn error and to defend the truth. They do not intervene when they should be unmasking the rapacious wolves who, hidden beneath the clothing of lambs, have insinuated themselves into the flock of Christ. They are mute dogs who allow their flocks to be torn to pieces. You, on the other hand, must speak out with force and with courage to condemn error and to spread only the Truth. (September 8, 1985).
Whereas, if he stand firm in defense of his flock, he is building up a wall for the house of Israel against its enemies. And so again the sinful people are told: ‘Your prophets have seen false and foolish visions for you; they have not exposed your iniquity in order to provoke you to repentance.’ …” (Pope St. Gregory the Great; Office of Readings; Sunday, Week 27 of OT).

In the Encyclical of Pope Leo XIII, Rerum Novarum, on Capital And Labor, we read:
Moreover, since the safeguarding of religion and of all things within the jurisdiction of the Church is primarily Our stewardship, SILENCE on Our part might be regarded as failure in Our duty” (no. 24, 16; http://www.newadvent.org/library/docs_le13rn.htm).

In my article, The FALSE POPE – Saint Hildegard” (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2013/02/resignation-of-pope-benedict.html), I wrote:
THE PRIESTS (CAPTAINS) AND THE BISHOPS (GENERALS) WHO HAVE SECONDED THIS SLIDE INTO RELATIVISM and the slackening with their culpable silence and their disobedience to the Vicar of Christ, the Pope, such as “Humanae Vitae” (1968), or the great obligation to maintain a great reverence before the infinite God in the Eucharist (Memoriale Domini, 1969), in this “dour combat” (CCC 409), have a much greater culpability having received a great vocation and responsibility with the corresponding graces. LET US PRAY FOR OUR PASTORS! One must struggle everyday with great effort to discover the Truth (big “V”), in order to live the Truth with the help of God, to be able to lead oneself and others to the Truth not only in this short life but for all eternity. God, Who is love, and thus respectful of our free will, does not coerce anyone to be with the Truth Who is God! “The chief punishment of hell is eternal separation from God” (CCC 1035). God, Who is love, respects our great dignity at the level of the angels, created in His image (Gen 1:26-27), and thus even if we live as animals without responsibility, we will be judged as human beings at the end of our life. If more people would have prayed 100 years ago, Hitler would not have been able to do what he did. Today there are much fewer people who pray with the intention of discovering and doing the will of God! We deserve what is happening and what is coming with the “NEW WORLD ORDER”, now rather hidden, but soon, totally in the open!”

In my article, The FALSE POPE – Saint Hildegard” (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2013/02/resignation-of-pope-benedict.html), I wrote:
It was interesting that Pope Benedict XVI INVITED CARDINAL BIFFI TO OFFER THE ANNUAL LENTEN RETREAT for the Pope and the top members of the Vatican (Feb. 27, 2007). The cardinal speaks often on the theme of the Antichrist. The Times of London reported in 2004 that the Cardinal described the Antichrist as “walking among us”. “Days will come in Christianity in which they will try to reduce the salvific event to a mere series of values.” It is a key passage in the last work of Vladimir Soloviev, “Tale of the Antichrist”, at the center of Cardinal James Biffi’s reflections. The Russian philosopher, who died in the year 1900 with great acumen, had prophesied the tragedies of the 20th century. In the “Tale of the Antichrist”, recalled the cardinal, “THE ANTICHRIST PRESENTS HIMSELF AS PACIFIST, ECOLOGIST AND ECUMENIST. He will convoke an ecumenical council and will seek the consensus of all the Christian confessions, granting something to each one. The masses will follow him, with the exception of small groups of Catholics, Orthodox and Protestants who will resist and will say to the Antichrist: ‘You give us everything, except what interests us, Jesus Christ’.” For Cardinal Biffi, this narrative is a warning: ‘Today, in fact, we run the risk of having a Christianity which puts aside Jesus with his cross and resurrection’.”
The Servant of God, ARCHBISHOP FULTON SHEEN, said: “The False Prophet will have a religion without a cross, a religion without a world to come, a religion to destroy religions. There will be a counterfeit church. Christ’s Church will be one. And the False Prophet will create the other. The false church will be worldly, ecumenical (false, not according to the teachings of the Second Vatican Council), and global. It will be a loose federation of churches, religions forming some type of global association, a world parliament of churches. It will be emptied of all divine content and will be the mystical body of the antichrist. The Mystical Body of Christ on earth today will have its Judas Iscariot and he will be the false prophet. Satan will recruit him from among our bishops.”

It is false love to say OK to sin, because it hurts the person who commits the sin and it hurts those around the person who commits the sin as well as the whole society.

Those who will remain faithful to God’s saving laws will be considered evil and cruel and will be less and less tolerated as we have seen throughout human history.
God revealed to Saint Francis of Assisi these prophecies:
6. “Those who in spiritual fervor will embrace piety with charity and zeal for the truth, will suffer persecutions and insults as if they were schismatics and disobedient. Because their persecutors, urged on by the evil spirits, will say that in this way they render a great honor to God in killing and removing from the face of the earth such pestilent men. But the Lord will be the refuge of the afflicted and He will save them, because they hoped in Him. And then in order to respect their Head, they will act according to the Faith and they will chose to obey God rather than men, gaining for themselves eternal life; they will fear nothing, and they will prefer to die rather than consent to error and perfidy.”

Jesus was not politically correct and thus offended many people and thus in the end Jesus was crucified! The prophets of the Old Testament were not politically correct and thus offended many people and thus in the end most of the prophets of the Old Testament were killed.

Mother Angelica, the founder of EWTN TV, commenting on, “I think it right, as long as I am in this body, to arouse you by way of reminder…” (2Pet 1:13), said: “I like Peter; that’s what I want to do. As long as I am alive I want to remind you to repent, to be sorry, to return to the Lord, to be holy! … I enjoy making so many people uncomfortable… we got to be reminded that there’s something more to come, “the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2Pet 1:11). … We have lost the sacred: there is nothing beautiful, nothing holy, nothing joyful. And we need to get back to that…”
(“Mother Angelica Live Classics - 2014-07-15 - Catholic Epistles - Mother Angelica”; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-7-9z0dQyk).

Many times on her world wide broadcasts, Mother Angelica has repeated this theme of trying to wake up people from their spiritual slumber as vividly indicated in the Diary of Saint Faustina:
ONE DAY, I SAW TWO ROADS. One was broad, covered with sand and flowers, full of joy, music and all sorts of pleasures. People walked along it, dancing and enjoying themselves. They reached the end without realizing it. And at the end of the road there was a horrible precipice; that is, the abyss of hell. The souls fell blindly into it; as they walked, so they fell. And their number was so great that it was impossible to count them. And I saw the other road, or rather, a path, for it was narrow and strewn with thorns and rocks; and the people who walked along it had tears in their eyes, and all kinds of suffering befell them. Some fell down upon the rocks, but stood up immediately and went on. At the end of the road there was a magnificent garden filled with all sorts of happiness, and all these souls entered there. At the very first instant they forgot all their sufferings.” (Diary, 153).
Today, I was led by an Angel to the chasms of hell… I would have died at the very sight of these tortures if the omnipotence of God had not supported me. Let the sinner know that he will be tortured throughout all eternity, in those senses which he made use of to sin. I am writing this at the command of God, so that no soul may find an excuse by saying there is no hell, or that nobody has ever been there, and so no one can say what it is like. … But I noticed one thing: that most of THE SOULS THERE ARE THOSE WHO DISBELIEVED THAT THERE IS A HELL” (Diary, 741).

TO FIGHT IN A BATTLE, IS IT NOT PRUDENT AND NECESSARY TO KNOW NOT ONLY YOUR OWN WEAPONS, TACTICS AND STRATEGY BUT ALSO THE WEAPONS, TACTICS AND STRATEGY OF THE ENEMY? It was recounted to Pope John Paul II that the Vatican's chief exorcist, Father Gabriele Amorth, “knows too many bishops who do not believe in the Devil”. The Pope replied bluntly: “ANYONE WHO DOES NOT BELIEVE IN THE DEVIL DOES NOT BELIEVE IN THE GOSPEL”. When asked “What do you see as SATAN’S GREATEST SUCCESS?”, Amorth replied (2001): “The fact that he has managed to convince people that he does not exist. He has almost managed it, even within the Church. We have a clergy and an Episcopate who no longer believe in the Devil , in exorcism, in the exceptional evil the Devil can instill, or even in the power that Jesus bestowed to cast out demons. For three centuries the Latin Church – in contrast to the Orthodox Church and the various Protestant professions – has almost totally abandoned the ministry of exorcism. So because they no longer perform exorcisms, or study them, and never having seen them, the clergy no longer believe in them. And they no longer believe in the Devil. We have entire Episcopates trying to counter exorcism. We have countries completely devoid of exorcists, such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain and Portugal. This is a shameful shortfall.”; (http://www.speroforum.com/site/article.asp?id=2879; http://www.vaticans.org/index.php?/archives/61-An-interview-with-the-Vaticans-chief-excorcist,-Father-Gabriele.html).

There is tremendous pressure today on your priests and bishops to offer false love, false mercy and misguided compassion and to remain silent about mortal sin and anything else that men and women of these modern times do not want to hear! PRAY FOR YOUR PRIESTS AND BISHOPS! Eternal happiness is a little bit more important than just seeking happiness in this very short life!?! No pain, no gain; no cross, no crown! No Good Friday, no Easter; no crucifixion, no resurrection for each of us!

THE PRIESTS TODAY WHO PREACH THE WHOLE GOSPEL and all of the teachings of the Magisterium of the Church are labeled ridged and old-fashioned, insensitive, lacking in compassion, divisive, judgmental, moralists. While at the same time the ones who maintain a culpable silence, the ones who tell their people what they think they want to hear are seen as understanding, sympathetic, pastorally sensitive and merciful. But this way of doing things is not true mercy! “Woe to you, when all men speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets” (Lk 6:26)! “How can you believe, who receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?” (Jn 5:44; Gal 1:10). But this way of doing is not true mercy! THIS IS FALSE LOVE, MISGUIDED COMPASSION, false mercy, false ecumenism, that does not lead to paradise for all eternity!?!

My dear brothers in Christ, a great number of Christians will take the easy way in this period to be politically correct even though God offers the grace of salvation for everyone. No one goes to hell by chance. But God’s graces are never wasted (Diary of Saint Faustina, no. 1294, etc.). The graces offered to those who refuse to repent and change their lives will go to others who are willing to follow Christ even more in their lives and have a greater share in Christ’s passion and crucifixion so as to receive a greater crown of glory for all eternity!

Saint Louis de Montfort referring to our period of time of great crisis, in his book “True Devotion to Mary” (no. 47), wrote:
I said that this will happen especially towards the end of the world, and indeed soon, because Almighty God and his holy Mother are to raise up great saints who will surpass in holiness most other saints as much as the cedars of Lebanon tower above little shrubs. This has been revealed to a holy soul whose life has been written by M. de Renty.”

CORRY TENBOON, AND HER FATHER CASPER, SUFFERED UNDER THE NAZIS. During this time of the Second World War in Germany, Corry said to her father: “I am not sure if i have the strength to endure martyrdom.” Casper replied: “When I take you to the train to go to Amsterdam, do I give you the money three weeks beforehand? No. Well when do I give you the money for that train? When I am getting on the train. That’s right. And that’s what God does. We do not have the graces that we need right now for whatever may come in the future. But He will give us what is necessary in that moment, in that need that we have.”
The one who has acquired a childlike relationship with Jesus and Mary, with much sincere and humble prayer, will have total trust in God, and will habitually keep his or her eyes fixed on Jesus and Mary, even when all seems impossible, and not sink into the water as Peter did (Mt 14:30).

DISCOURAGEMENT HAS ITS ROOTS IN PRIDE AND IN EXCESSIVE SELF CONFIDENCE. We need to, with deeper humility when we fail, begin again, renewing our trust in God.

SAINT JOHN CHRYSOSTOM wrote: “IF A SOLDIER IS WOUNDED or has to give a little ground during the battle, we do not call that a crime. ONLY THOSE WHO DO NOT FIGHT ARE NEVER WOUNDED. But those who charge the enemy with the greatest spirit are the ones who receive the most blows. So do not be surprised if you are engaged in doing good that you are going to encounter trials and obstacles. You are going to suffer some blows and setbacks and disappointments even in yourself.

Saint Paul encourages us:
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let those of us who are mature be thus minded; and if in anything you are otherwise minded, God will reveal that also to you. Only let us hold true to what we have attained” (Phil 3:14-16).
But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him," God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God” (1Cor 2:9-10).

Take courage brothers and sisters. We must prepare as good athletes to win the prize!

It will be so difficult in this period of the “great tribulation” (Mt 24:21) that Our Lady revealed to Father Stefano Gobbi (April 16, 1995):
In these last times, the struggle between good and evil, between grace and sin, between God and Satan, is reaching the summit of its power. It seems that, in your days, Satan has attained his victory, as during the Sabbath when Jesus lay lifeless in the sepulcher.”
My motherly plan is to give comfort to you in your sorrow, to pour balm on each of your wounds, and to give confidence and great hope to you in your discouragement. How difficult are the days in which you are living! This is the conclusive period of the purification and the great tribulation. In fact, all humanity is possessed by the spirits of evil, and my Church is shaken by the impetuous wind of errors, of divisions, of unbelief and of apostasy … The time is close when justice will espouse itself to divine mercy, for the purification of the earth. Prepare yourselves, all of you, to bear the pain of the great purifying trial” (Our Lady to Don Stefano Gobbi – June 27, 1996).
I want to act through you, O priests consecrated to my Immaculate Heart. This too is part of my plan. The Evil One, my Adversary from the beginning, is now in the process of seducing a gret number of priests, and he is working among them and gathering them together against my Son, against me and against the Church. I am personally intervening and calling together into my cohort the priests who are determined to remain faithful. I call them all to consecrate themselves to my Immaculate Heart and to take refuge in me. The struggle will be especially between me and the ancient Serpent whose head I will, in the end, crush. And so I now ask of you only those things which, according to you human way of looking at things, seem small and insignificant. As day by day propaganda increases, as well as the clamor of the enemies of God who are succeeding in winning everything over to themselves, all I ask of you is to respond with your trust and total abandonment, with prayer, with suffering and with your silence. However, whatever you offer to my Heart will become in my hands a terrible weapon with which to fight and to win this battle. To the haughty cohort of the arrogant who rebel against God, I will reply with the cohort of my little, humble, despised and persecuted sons. AND THROUGH YOU THE VICTORY WILL BELONG, IN THE END, TO THE HUMBLE ‘HANDMAID OF THE LORD.’ (Lk 1:38). (Our Lady to Don Stefano Gobbi – October 30, 1975).

Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. Well, I do not run aimlessly, I do not box as one beating the air; but I pommel my body and subdue it, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified” (1Cor 9:24-27).

I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us” (Rom 8:18).
